Globally accessible album project
Everyone can participate. Ultimately, eight songs are being created out of the recordings of the participants.
How? A simple playback per song defines the musical basis. You can sing along, play solos, chords, transitions – whatever you like.
After recording and uploading your audio, all submissions will be arranged and mixed.
how it works
1. Get your playback
Download a playback from the soundcloud page.
The instrumental playback is the foundation of each album song. Tempo and key are defined within the playback name.
2. Record your parts
Pick up your instrument and add your magic to the playback. For technical details, download the Instruction Details (PDF).
3. Upload
Visit thesharedritual.com to upload your audio file.
Fill in the submission form. This is needed to keep track of who played what – and for promotional purposes.
After submitting the form, you will recieve an email with the upload-link to upload your audio file(s).
